Mister Arp turns any chord into a moving pattern. Hold a few notes and it plays them back in time with your song, through a full synth engine, with a 16-step pattern you can shape step by step. When you like it, drag the pattern straight onto a track in your DAW as MIDI.
11 ARP MODES
Up, Down, Up/Down, Down/Up, As Played, Random, Chord, Converge, Diverge, Pinky (every note alternates with the top note) and Thumb (with the bottom note), over 1 to 4 octaves, from 1/32 to quarter notes, including dotted and triplet values. Gate, swing and latch included.
A 16-STEP PATTERN UNDER YOUR FINGERS
Every step has its own velocity, ratchet (repeat the note 2, 3 or 4 times inside the step), chance (so the pattern changes every pass), transpose and tie. Shorter patterns like 5 or 7 steps drift against the bar for polymeter grooves.
ALWAYS IN KEY
Pick a key and scale (major, minor, modes, pentatonics, blues) and every note, including per-step transposes, snaps to it. Hold one note and a transposed pattern becomes a melody.
DRAG MIDI INTO YOUR DAW
Press DRAG MIDI and drop 1, 2, 4 or 8 bars of exactly what Mister Arp is playing onto any track, ready to edit or to drive another synth. Click it instead to save the MIDI file to your Music folder.
A FULL SYNTH INSIDE
The SOUND page holds the complete Mister Leads engine: two oscillators with unison, supersaw and FM, filter, envelopes, LFO, drive, chorus, delay and reverb. The ARP page keeps the most useful sound knobs at hand.
