HOW IT WORKS
Put VocalScribe on a track with a single-note melody, from a MIDI instrument, a synth line or a hummed guide. Press RECORD and play. VocalScribe tracks the pitch of every note, learns the melody and its timing, then sings the lyrics you typed onto those notes, syllable by syllable. Under the hood it uses YIN pitch tracking to follow your melody and TD-PSOLA pitch shifting to put the voice exactly on each note.
SOUNDS SUNG, NOT SPOKEN
Text-to-speech on its own sounds like a robot reading a shopping list. VocalScribe is tuned for singing. Consonants land just before the beat and vowels hold through each note, so lines flow the way a singer phrases them. Vibrato and Vib Rate add natural wobble on long notes. Legato connects notes smoothly. Humanize adds the small timing and pitch variations real singers have. Dynamics shapes the volume of each phrase. Overshoot adds the slight scoop past the target pitch that makes a note sound sung. Vowel Open widens the vowels for a fuller, more open tone.
